We are seeking a highly motivated Midlevel Patent Attorney or Agent to join our busy life sciences patent prosecution and counseling practice in San Francisco / SV. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of law firm experience and a strong biological sciences background (Ph.D. or M.S. with research experience preferred).
The Mandate
- Responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications, managing client portfolios, conducting freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses, and providing strategic IP counsel for cutting-edge biotechnology and life sciences innovations.
What You Must Bring
- Experience: 3+ years.
- Profile: Registration to practice before the USPTO is required.
- Licensure: Active bar admission in California, or the ability to waive in. Strong academic credentials.
- Workplace: San Francisco / SV.
- Compensation: $225,000 – $435,000.
