Job Description Corporate Litigation Attorney (Associate / Senior Associate / Partner-Track) New Haven, Connecticut We are seeking an experienced Corporate Litigator who can independently handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters from start to finish.

What You Must Bring

• Experience: 5-8 years.
• Profile: Core Responsibilities – Independently manage commercial and corporate litigation matters through all phases (investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation/arbitration, and trial) – Serve as first-chair counsel in state and federal court proceedings – Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as lead attorney – Develop case strategy and execute it with minimal supervision – Draft and argue complex motions and briefs – Provide practical, business-focused advice to corporate clients – Build and maintain strong client relationships Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) – Proven first-chair trial experience in commercial/corporate litigation (this is mandatory) – Demonstrated ability to independently manage full litigation files – Substantial experience in business/commercial disputes (contract disputes, business torts, partnership/shareholder disputes, fiduciary litigation, or related corporate matters) – Active admission to the Connecticut bar (or ability to waive in promptly) – Strong writing, advocacy, and courtroom presence – Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues when needed Preferred Experience – 4+ years for Associate / Senior Associate level – 8–15+ years for Partner-track or Counsel level – Experience in both state and federal courts in Connecticut – Prior responsibility for originating or expanding client relationships is a plus What This Role Offers – Real autonomy and freedom to run your own cases – Direct client contact and meaningful case ownership – Opportunity for long-term growth (including partnership track for the right candidate) – Collaborative yet independent work environment This position is designed for a litigator who is already battle-tested in the courtroom and ready to own their practice rather than support someone else’s.”
