Talent One is conducting a confidential search for this seat. The client is is seeking a Senior Manager of Tax & Partner Compensation to join our team. The Senior Manager of Tax & Partner Compensation is responsible for the Firm’s tax operations to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of tax services to the Firm and its partners.
The Mandate
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews various local, state and federal tax returns prepared by the Firm’s accountants, including partnership returns and K-1s.
- Reviews tax implication calculations and develops strategies for minimizing liability.
- Stays current on federal, state, and local tax legislation to ensure compliance.
- Tracks and maintains records on the status of all tax returns to ensure timely filings and compliance with domestic tax laws.
- Examines, analyzes, and interprets accounting and financial records to prepare reports and provide recommendations.
- Monitors internal and external deadlines related to tax elections.
- Responds to partners’ questions and provides tax advice as requested.
- This includes all potential lateral or growth prospects.
What You Must Bring
- Experience: 7+ years.
- Profile: Works closely with the payroll team to ensure partner compensation is processed timely and accurately. Manages Equity Partner compensation process and models. Manages Income Partner Compensation process.
- Workplace: All Locations.
- Compensation: $150,000 – $160,000.
