Emergency Response Training and Exercise Specialist

Talent One is recruiting a Emergency Response Training and Exercise Specialist for Patriot Emergency Preparedness Solutions. Engagements may support municipal, county, state, education, healthcare, private-sector, or other organizations. Travel for site visits may be required. Compensation: $85,000 – $125,000.

Training and exercise specialist to design, facilitate, evaluate, and document preparedness exercises using FEMA HSEEP methodology, from seminars and tabletops through functional and full-scale exercises.

The Mandate

  • Design discussion-based and operations-based exercises consistent with HSEEP.
  • Develop SitMans, ExPlans, MSELs, EEGs, player materials, and controller/evaluator packages.
  • Lead planning meetings and facilitate tabletops, workshops, and executive discussions.
  • Serve as exercise director, controller, evaluator, facilitator, or planning-team lead.
  • Develop After-Action Reports and Improvement Plans.

What You Must Bring

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in preparedness training, exercise design, or exercise facilitation.
  • Required: FEMA HSEEP training (E/L/K0146 or recognized predecessor/equivalent).
  • Knowledge: FEMA ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, and IS-800 or equivalent.
  • Preferred: CEM or AEM; FEMA Master Exercise Practitioner (MEPP); ICS-300/400.
  • Workplace: AL, OH, SC, VA, NC, FL, and TX. Travel for exercise conduct and client planning meetings as required.
