Talent One is exclusively retained to place a sophisticated Senior Commercial Real Estate & Finance Attorney into a rapidly expanding, elite practice in Florida. This is not a standard high-volume processing role. We are seeking a high-caliber transactional architect capable of leading complex acquisitions, debt financing, joint ventures, and layered public-private financing structures.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Leads & Manage: Direct sophisticated commercial real estate and finance transactions from inception through closing.
- Elite Representation: Represent developers, investors, lenders, borrowers, and business entities in connection with CRE acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures.
- Complex Financing: Structure, negotiate, and document CRE financing transactions involving first and second lien credit facilities, mortgages, deeds of trust, and other secured arrangements.
- Affordable & Mixed-Use Housing: Structure and close transactions involving the development and rehabilitation of affordable housing, public housing, and tax credit properties.
- Public-Private Funding: Advise clients on transactions utilizing HUD mixed-finance programs, Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI), LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, and public grants.
- Advanced Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, operating/partnership agreements, and complex commercial contracts.
- Due Diligence & Closing: Oversee high-level due diligence (title, survey, environmental) and coordinate flawless transaction closings.
- Mentorship: Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff.
Mandatory Caliber & Qualifications
- Education & Licensure: J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Experience Level: 8+ years of continuous, specific, and verifiable experience in commercial real estate, finance, and corporate transactions.
- Transactional Mastery: Extensive experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex CRE and financing transactions representing both lenders and borrowers.
- Niche Expertise: Proven experience with affordable housing and community development transactions (HUD programs, RAD conversions, CNI projects, LIHTC, and tax-exempt bond financings).
