Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this leader will define and execute global sourcing strategies that ensure cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and world-class supplier performance. This role will be instrumental in scaling procurement capabilities to support rapid growth, partnering cross-functionally to drive alignment from new product introduction through mass production.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the global GSM organization across regions, establishing clear ownership, accountability, and performance standardsDefine and execute sourcing strategies across key commodities, balancing cost, quality, lead time, and supply riskOwn executive-level supplier relationships, including contract manufacturers and strategic component suppliers, leading negotiations and long-term agreementsDrive cost excellence through should-cost modeling, cost roadmaps, and continuous cost reduction initiatives across the product lifecyclePartner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure sourcing strategies support NPI, ramp, and sustaining productionBuild and scale a high-performing global team, strengthening capabilities in negotiation, analytics, and supplier managementQUALIFICATIONS:12+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or global supply management, ideally within consumer electronics or high-growth hardware environmentsProven experience leading and developing global, distributed teamsDeep expertise in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost modelingStrong understanding of electronics supply chains, including components, contract manufacturing, and APAC supplier ecosystemsDemonstrated ability to operate effectively across both strategic and executional responsibilitiesExperience supporting new product introduction and scaling into mass productionStrong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence Engineering, Operations, and Finance partnersWillingness to travel internationally to support supplier engagement and business needsStrong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributionsThis role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.  In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package..  These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs.
