This role will lead cross-functional projects that span continuous improvement efforts, yield enhancements, and full electromechanical redesigns. You will play a vital role in scaling innovation from concept to deployment in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, firmware, and supply chain teams.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead hardware engineering projects from kickoff through launch, focusing on performance, cost, and quality improvementsCreate and manage detailed project plans aligned with WHOOP goals, balancing timelines, resources, and risk mitigationCoordinate engineering builds and iterative development activities with internal and external manufacturing partnersFacilitate effective cross-functional collaboration and communication, ensuring timely decision-making and alignmentProactively identify and manage project risks and dependencies, driving resolution of technical and organizational blockersContribute to the ongoing refinement of WHOOP’s Continuous Improvement Engineering process to enhance project execution and reliabilityQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience in hardware product development3+ years of industry experience in the area of consumer electronic product developmentDemonstrated success managing cross-functional hardware projects from development through launchStrong understanding of product component development cycles, lead times, and sourcing processesExperience communicating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and external partners both domestically and internationallyInnovative, knowledgeable, and able to adapt to fast-paced changing requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder managementThis role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.Β Β In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package..Β Β These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs.
