Through cutting-edge hardware, software, and data science, WHOOP delivers personalized insights that help members optimize recovery, training, sleep, and overall well-being. WHOOP is seeking a Retail Lead to support the launch and lead day-to-day operations of WHOOP Qatar, an experiential performance center, research lab, and store located in the heart of Msheireb.  This individual will play a critical role in bringing the WHOOP retail vision to life in Qatar, overseeing the successful opening of the store, building and leading a high-performing team, and delivering a premium, data-driven member experience. The Retail Lead will ensure operational excellence across extended hours (12 hours per day, 7 days per week), drive membership and retail performance, and uphold the brand standards expected of a world-class performance destination. This role reports directly to the Director, WHOOP Qatar. This role is based in Doha, Qatar. We will only consider candidates who currently live in Doha.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the end-to-end launch of WHOOP Qatar’s retail experience, ensuring flawless execution across store buildout, merchandising, systems, staffing, and experiential programming.Manage daily retail operations for a 12-hour/day, 7-day/week schedule, maintaining exceptional standards of service, organization, and operational excellence.Recruit, hire, train, and schedule Research Associates to support both retail and experiential functions, fostering a high-performance, member-centric team culture.Drive revenue growth through the sale of WHOOP memberships, accessories, apparel, and the signature WHOOP Your Way experience, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.Uphold premium brand standards across visual merchandising, store presentation, inventory management, and member engagement.Partner cross-functionally with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand, marketing, and operational strategies.Partner with Creative and Brand Departments on sustaining of regular fixture improvements and changes.Maintain rigorous attention to detail across reporting, scheduling, compliance, and operational processes to ensure a seamless member experience.QUALIFICATIONS:8+ years of retail management experience, including launching and operating high-end retail stores or experiential environments.Experience working with premium or luxury brands, with a strong understanding of elevated service standards and clienteling.Demonstrated success recruiting, developing, and leading teams in high-traffic, extended-hours retail environments.Proven ability to execute store launches or major retail activations with exceptional organization and attention to detail.Strong operational acumen, including inventory management, scheduling, sales performance tracking, and KPI accountability.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and represent WHOOP in a premium retail setting.Proficiency in Arabic preferred.Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.This role is based in Doha, Qatar.
