This role will lead early-stage product concepting and development, shaping the roadmap and influencing cross-functional priorities to deliver meaningful business outcomes. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, partnering across internal teams and external collaborators to bring innovative products to life for WHOOP.RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the end-to-end development of Apparel & Accessories products, driving execution from concept through launch readiness in partnership with design, engineering, and development teamsIntroduce and lead early-stage product research and development, defining product concepts, use cases, and business rationale grounded in consumer insights and market opportunitiesPartner with Supply Chain to validate product feasibility, lead times, and cost at defined stages of the product creation process, ensuring alignment prior to sourcing commitmentsLead product creation for key external partnerships, managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment to deliver high-quality, co-developed productsTranslate consumer insights, market trends, and performance data into actionable product briefs and category-level recommendations that inform roadmap and portfolio strategyDrive product positioning, naming, and core messaging in collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure consistency across channelsPartner closely with go-to-market teams to ensure a seamless transition from product readiness to launch executionQUALIFICATIONS: 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a related role within consumer goods, apparel, or wearable technologyProven track record of developing physical products and managing them through the full lifecycle, from concept through launchExperience partnering with design and engineering teams to bring physical products from concept to productionExperience leading product development in collaboration with external partners or brands, with strong relationship and project management skillsDemonstrated ability to operate autonomously, influence cross-functional strategy, and drive alignment without direct authorityStrong strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into clear product direction and actionable briefsExcellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience influencing stakeholders at multiple levelsHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneouslyPassion for health, wellness, fitness, or performance-driven products preferredStrong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributionsWHOOP is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-verify to determine employment eligibility. The WHOOP compensation philosophy is designed to attract, motivate, and retain exceptional talent by offering competitive base salaries, meaningful equity, and consistent pay practices that reflect our mission and core values. At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success. The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 – $170,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.  In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package. These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
