In this role, you will define how WHOOP surfaces data, insight, and guidance across two of the most critical pillars of health and performance — helping members build a deeper understanding of how they sleep, recover, and train. You will balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring these experiences deepen member trust, reinforce WHOOP as the most accurate and actionable health platform available, and drive meaningful improvements in member behavior and outcomes.RESPONSIBILITIES:Define and drive the product roadmap for WHOOP’s Sleep and Fitness experiences, aligned with company goals around trust, accuracy, and long-term member valueLead the evolution of existing and development of new sleep and fitness features, from the morning sleep/recovery experience to workout tracking and everything in betweenTranslate complex physiological data and algorithm outputs into clear, compelling, and actionable member experiences that build lasting trust in WHOOP’s health and performance intelligencePartner closely with engineering, machine learning, research science, and design teams to deliver accurate, high-quality experiences grounded in science and member insightContribute to the evolution of WHOOP’s core platform capabilities, ensuring sleep and fitness data and insight are effectively integrated across WHOOP surfaces and external partnersDefine and track success metrics for sleep and fitness initiatives, with a focus on member trust, engagement, and behavior changeCollaborate across the Product team to maximize the impact of the sleep and fitness experiences, ensuring they connect meaningfully with recovery, strain, and coaching surfacesQUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years focused on consumer health, wellness, or data-driven productsExperience building products grounded in complex data or physiological signals, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical depth into intuitive member experiencesTechnical fluency to engage deeply on algorithm outputs, data models, and system architecture, able to collaborate effectively with engineering and data science on technical tradeoffsDemonstrated comfort with and usage of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate product executionStrong product judgment and ability to make tradeoffs between depth of insight and simplicity of experienceProven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority in complex, fast-moving organizationsComfort operating across strategy and execution, from defining long-term vision to shipping high-quality product incrementsStrong analytical skills and experience using data to inform prioritization and measure product impactExperience operating effectively in ambiguous environments, bringing clarity to new or evolving product areas through strong prioritization and executionPassion for building incredible consumer experiences in health, fitness, or adjacent domainsThis role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.  In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package. These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
